The challenge

Dale at JDC Home Improvements isn't a typical builder. He spent nearly two decades as an engineer before 15 years in construction, and it shows in how he works: careful planning, tidy sites and a finish people notice. His customers across Derbyshire say so, in review after review.

That's a problem when someone's about to spend thousands on a new kitchen or extension. Homeowners compare several trades before they pick up the phone, and from the outside most of them look the same. Dale's engineering background, the thing that sets him apart, was invisible until you'd already hired him.

What we did

I started with the question every homeowner asks before inviting a builder in: can I trust this person with my house?

The engineer's advantage, up front. Dale's background sits in the first lines of the homepage and runs through how the site explains his process: planning, project management and clear communication from start to finish. It gives homeowners a reason to choose JDC that has nothing to do with price.
Proof from people down the road. The project gallery and reviews are local by design: a bathroom in Heanor, a driveway in Loscoe, a kitchen-diner finished in under four weeks. Each one names the village and the job, so a visitor in Derbyshire sees work like theirs, close to home.
A quote just a message away. Most of Dale's customers would rather send a quick message than fill in a form, so "Message Dale" on WhatsApp appears throughout the site, alongside Facebook enquiries and a call. Getting a quote feels like texting a tradesperson you already know.
